Sitting right on the western shore of Bear Lake, this small lakeside town moves at a pace that feels almost intentional, like it was designed specifically for people who need to remember what slowing down feels like.

Mike's Market — 0.2 miles away (about a 3-minute walk)
Your neighborhood grocery is practically at your doorstep. Grab your morning coffee, stock up on snacks, pick up ice for the cooler, or grab everything you need for a lakeside cookout without getting in the car. That kind of convenience is rare and we don't take it for granted.

⛵ Bear Lake Marina — 2.5 miles away
The lake is the whole reason people come to Garden City, and the marina is your front door to it. Rent a boat, a kayak, a paddleboard, or a jet ski and get out on that impossibly blue water.

⛳ Bear Lake Golf Course — 4.3 miles away
One of Utah's most scenic rounds of golf, with the lake and surrounding mountains as your backdrop on virtually every hole. Whether you're a serious golfer or someone who just likes being outdoors with a club in hand, this course rewards the trip.

⛷️ Bear Mountain Ski Area — 13.4 miles away
Bear Mountain is an easy drive from your front door and delivers a genuinely uncrowded mountain experience. No lift-line stress, no shoulder-to-shoulder lodge.

🦇 Minnetonka Cave — 22.4 miles away
One of the most unique half-day excursions in the region. This natural limestone cave stretches nearly a mile underground and holds formations that took millions of years to build. Guided tours run through the summer season and the cave stays a cool 40°F year-round.

🏘️ Downtown Garden City — 3 minutes away
Bear Lake's famous raspberry shakes, locally owned shops, lakeside restaurants, and the kind of small-town main street that makes you want to park the car and just walk around — all three minutes from your front door. Summer evenings downtown are particularly good. Trust us on that one.

A personal vehicle is absolutely the best way to experience Garden City and the Bear Lake area. With the marina, golf course, ski area, and cave all within easy reach, having your own wheels means you're on your own schedule. The drive into Garden City itself is half the experience, especially coming through Logan Canyon where the scenery does things to you that no photo fully captures.

🅿️ Parking — Please Read Carefully
We've made sure there's plenty of space for you and your gear including the boat.

Here's what's available on the property:

2-car garage — covered, secure, and yours to use
2 additional spaces in the driveway — perfect for extra vehicles or larger SUVs
1 designated parking strip beside the garage — fits either 1 boat/trailer OR up to 2 additional cars

That's a total capacity for up to 6 vehicles or 4 cars plus your boat and trailer.

⚠️ Important — No Street Parking. This Is Strictly Enforced.

We want to be upfront about this because we genuinely don't want anyone's trip disrupted by an unexpected fine. Street parking is strictly prohibited on and around the property. This policy is enforced jointly by Garden City and the Lochwood Homeowners Association and violations carry a $500 fine that is issued directly to the vehicle owner.

This isn't something we have flexibility on, and we ask all guests and any visitors you may have during your stay to park only within the designated on-property spaces listed above. With the garage, driveway, and parking strip combined, there's genuinely enough room for everyone as long as it's planned ahead

If you're expecting extra guests or day visitors, just coordinate arrival times so the on-property parking can be managed smoothly. It's an easy thing to sort out in advance and saves everyone a headache.

🚤 Bringing a Boat?
You're in the right place. The dedicated parking strip next to the garage was designed with exactly you in mind. Pull your trailer in, unhook, and you're set for the whole stay. Bear Lake Marina is 2.5 miles away a quick, easy tow when you're ready to launch

The property offers a 2-car garage, space for 2 additional vehicles in the driveway, and a designated parking strip next to the garage that can accommodate either 1 boat/trailer or up to 2 cars. Please note that street parking is strictly prohibited. We strive to follow all regulations set by Garden City and the Lochwood Homeowners Association, both of which enforce a no street parking policy. Failure to comply may result in a $500 fine, so we kindly ask all guests to adhere to these rules during their stay.
